- Broodmare Boarding - Nuckols Farm in Midway, Kentucky offers its clients year-round equine boarding services. With nearly 300 acres of premium grazing land in the heart of the Bluegrass, along with professionally maintained facilities, we consistently provide for your horse with the utmost personalized care and attention. Whether your goals are to produce successful sale yearlings or outstanding racehorses, our knowledgeable team offers over 100 years of experience and dedication.
- Breeding - Nuckols Farm is a full-service thoroughbred breeding facility. Under the watchful eyes of our seasoned team and our relationship with our veterinarian, our mares thrive in the breeding shed and our success rate of getting mares in foal is over 95%. We go to great measure to provide the care and attention needed per each mare and are available any time of day.
- Foaling - Nuckols Farm develops foals that are commercially marketable and grow to become quality yearlings and racehorses. We focus on the best care available and raise each foal with the same level of professionalism that has made our Nuckols Farm a standard in the Bluegrass. Each mare is foaled by our team and we monitor and evaluate the mare and foal daily.
- Layup Care - Nuckols Farm is a full care and lay up facility which provides complete rest and recuperation for horses engaged in physically demanding activities. Located in Midway, Kentucky, our farm is nestled on nearly 300 acres of prime Bluegrass grazing land. Our farm is served by an experienced staff knowledgeable in all equine care. In addition to the lay-up center, Nuckols Farm also provides a comprehensive program for equine rehabilitation and reconditioning.
- Sales Preparation - Nuckols Farm prepares yearlings for all the major sales in Kentucky. We tailor programs to the specific needs and challenges of each horse for the few months preceding the sale. Our team’s goal is to always prepare the yearling, physically and mentally, for shipping to the sale grounds and being shown to prospective purchasers just days before they are sold at auction.
